We’ve all heard about F1's !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! qualifying format and while the feelings on it are rightly mixed, we can all agree that the powers that be are just making somewhat ridiculous rule changes in an effort to spice up the show. However, that rule change has now been postponed until !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . “Whatever ridiculous rule change will bring in the spectators until then?”, you might ask yourself. Well, I think I’ve got the solution — put a real monkey on the monkey seat.
What equally ridiculous rule changes can you come up with?

My suggestion is that we tie Bernie to a wooden pole and launch Pastor’s F1 car from last year at him before qualifying starts to bless the track. If the Aztecs could sacrifice humans to the sun, then we can sacrifice Bernie’s ass to ring-in a new season of F1!

As much ridiculous garbage as spews from his mouth, Bernie is not in charge of the rules governing F1. He’s in charge of the business side, and while he’s certainly had negative effects on the sport in that aspect, he’s not to blame for things like this silly new qualifying format.

I said there were rightly mixed feelings. I’m reserving judgment. I think it has the potential to being just as good as quail was but probably not any better.
